Skills Check
A skills check is the hands-on portion of an AHA eLearning (online) course and includes Parts 2 and 3 — skills practice and testing. It is conducted in-person after a student completes Part 1 online.
All skills checks are conducted by AHA BLS Instructors and Heartsaver Skills Evaluators.
After demonstrating knowledge of the course content, cards will be issued same day. The cards are valid for 2 years from the date of the skills check completion.
Pricing for an online course (Part 1) does not include the skills check (part 2 or 3). Skills checks can be performed under 1 hour in most cases.
